Former Mayor Helen Boosalis helps plant a tree in her honor at a ceremony renaming the Highway 2 Trail as the Helen Boosalis Trail.

Mayor Seng presented Helen with a proclamation.

W. Don Nelson presented Helen with congratulations from U.S. Senator Ben Nelson.

About 70 people attended the ceremony on the trail.

Helen's daughter helped unveil the plaque along the trail.

State Senator DiAnna Schimek was among those helping to plant the tree in Helen's honor.
