As 2006 comes to a close, we can look back at a year of proud accomplishments in our City. Despite limited resources, we have continued to provide quality services to our citizens. We’ve also been able to complete and move forward on major infrastructure improvements - the kinds of projects that bring new employers and jobs to our City. We also give thanks for our safe community, good schools and growing economy. As we look ahead to 2007, we are confident that more companies will bring expansion projects and new jobs to this community. I also am confident that Lincoln will continue to be a generous community, taking care of those who are not so fortunate. I want to wish you and your family Happy New Year and best wishes for a great 2007.
