MORE ANTELOPE VALLEY PROJECTS TO OPEN FOR TRAFFIC
Public invited to tour improvements in September

Another section of North Antelope Valley Parkway from Y to Vine streets will open to traffic about 2 p.m Thursday, August 28. The O Street bridge from 21st to 22nd streets also is expected to be partially open September 5, with one lane of traffic open in each direction. All lanes of the bridge are expected to be open by the end of September.

The public is invited to tour the Antelope Valley Project improvements next month. A bus tour will begin at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, September 18 with a presentation at Lincoln High School. On Saturday, September 20, a bike tour will be offered at 9 a.m. and bus tours will begin at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. The Saturday tours begin with presentations at the Auld Recreation Center in Antelope Park. Reservations are recommended and can be made online at lincoln.ne.gov (keyword: antelope) or by calling 458-5901.
