Mayor Beutler participated in a groundbreaking September 5 for University Pointe at 48th and Huntington Streets. Local developers Will and Robert Scott of WRK say the $3.6 million redevelopment will be LEED certified because of the use of "green building" technology. Ground was broken September 9 for CenterPointe's new housing project to serve low-income clients who are disabled by serious mental illness. The site is on the north edge of Peter Pan Park. In the top photo, Mayor Beutler and CenterPointe Executive Director Topher Hansen discuss the project.
