The Lincoln City Council would like to hear the public's opinions on a proposal to change the Council's weekly meeting time from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. The last meeting of the month will continue to begin at 5:30 p.m. City Council Chair Doug Emery said the Council is considering the time change to make it more convenient for the public to attend meetings. The Council is scheduled to vote on the time change at its meeting on Monday, June 22. The public can contact the Council office by calling 441-7515, e-mailing council@lincoln.ne.gov or sending comments to 555 S. 10th St., Lincoln, NE 68508.
