35th and Adams Closed For Shed Replacement

Trains will sound horns in quiet zone until repairs made

The intersection of 35th and Adams streets was closed at 9 a.m. today to allow Burlington Northern Santa Fe to replace the damaged railroad equipment shed that was struck by a car January 10. The work is expected to be finished by 3:30 p.m. today, weather permitting.

Train horns will continue to be sounded in the area's railroad quiet zone until the shed is replaced and the wayside horns reconnected.
