Mayor's Office
Pioneers Boulevard from east of Allendale Drive to west of 40th Street will close Monday for rehabilitation and is expected to be closed to through traffic for about six weeks. On Wednesday, May 4 the road closure will extend to just east of 33rd Street. The street from 33rd to Allendale is remaining open through Tuesday May 3 to allow access to South Gate United Methodist Church, a longtime Lincoln voting site.
When this first phase of the Pioneers Boulevard rehabilitation project is completed in early June, work will begin on the replacement of the 33rd and Pioneers intersection.
Nebraska Highway 2 is the suggested alternate route during Pioneers Boulevard construction.
