Westbound Lanes at 11th and "O" to Close for Water Main Project

The westbound lanes of "O" Street at 11th Street will be closed beginning at 6 p.m. today for the replacement of water main valves. This work will require the lanes to be closed through tomorrow and possibly over the weekend. Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible and use alternate routes. Traffic is expected to be restored by the Monday morning commute.

Business along "O" Street from 10th to 11th and along 10th Street from "N" to "O" will experience some disruption of water service beginning at 9 p.m. this evening and lasting for about six 6 hours.

This work is part of a water main project that has been under construction in "N" Street over the last few months.
