North 1st Street Closed Due to Water Main Break

A break in a 16-inch water main at 1st and Nance streets has closed North 1st Street from West Dawes to West Belmont this afternoon in northwest Lincoln. Lincoln Water System (LWS) crews are currently repairing the break.

The street will remain closed for a resurfacing project scheduled to begin Monday.

LWS customers in the area experienced lower than normal water pressure for a few minutes, but there are currently no customers without water.
