City Council Chair Carl Eskridge today released the names of the 26 residents who have applied for appointment to Adam Hornung's seat on the Council. Hornung recently resigned from the Council because of a new job opportunity. His is one of three at-large Council positions that will be up for reelection next spring.

After reviewing the applications, the Council members and Mayor Beutler will each select one November 30. The first week of December, the nominated candidates will be interviewed, and the public will have an opportunity to meet and talk with the candidates at an open house. Eskridge and Beutler will then offer a nomination to the full City Council for a vote at the Council meeting December 10.
