Due to significant overnight rainfall and rising water levels throughout Lincoln and Lancaster County, Emergency Management officials are urging motorists to use extreme caution when driving. Roadways and intersections may have standing water and runoff debris creating potential hazardous driving conditions.
Several roads have been closed with barricades due to high water. Motorists should not drive through standing water or around barricades. When and where possible, digital message boards will be used to alert motorists and provide detour information.
