The public is invited to celebrate Father's Day at the Pioneers Park Nature Center with a program called "Frogs and Floats" from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 21. The program will begin at the Prairie Building. Participants will dip nets into the pond to catch frogs, tadpoles and other pond-life and then use magnifiers to get a closer look at the their findings. The event will end with root beer floats. Participants are encouraged to wear older shoes and clothes and to wear insect repellent.
The program costs $8 per person or $15 per family and registration is required by June 18. For more information or to register, call 402-441-7895.
