Lincoln City Libraries (LCL) has added a family storytime component to its weekly Library Learning Time program this year. The free family storytime is from 1:30 to 2 p.m. each Sunday at Bennett Martin Public Library, 136 S. 14th St., in the youth area on the first floor. Each session will be followed by a craft activity. The family storytime is designed for preschool and early elementary-age children and their families.
LCL provides over 30 interactive Library Learning Times weekly, with sessions designed specifically for babies, toddlers, preschoolers and families. The programs support literacy by building vocabulary, developing language skills and nurturing a love of books and literature in a fun, engaging atmosphere. All Library Learning Times are free and open to the public, with no preregistration required.
