Superior Street Trail Detours Available

Superior Street Trail users are advised of several detours that are available during the Superior Street repaving project, which includes work on curb ramps at intersections along the trail.

Construction in the area between Interstate 180 and N. 14th Street will begin on Friday, May 27 and continue through early July. Work between N. 14th and N. 27th streets will take place from July through early October. Detours are available along the N. 1st Street Trail and the on-street bike routes on Adams, N. 11th, Manatt, Hartley and Fairfield streets, as well as the Salt Creek Levee Trail from N. 27th to Superior streets near N. 31st Street.

The 14th Street Trail will remain open through the Superior Street roundabout, providing access to Goodrich Middle School.

Visit gptn.org to view the trail map or use the route planning tool. For more information on Lincoln's trails, visit parks.lincoln.ne.gov.
