Public Invited to Aging Partners Information and Resource Fair

Aging Partners invites senior citizens and the general public to its Information and Resource Fair from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday, November 17 at East Lincoln Christian Church, 7001 Edenton. The event will allow people to sample Aging Partners services in an area the agency doesn't usually reach, said Randy Jones, Aging Partners Director.

"The services offered at this site will be those we and the public believe are of most interest to those who will attend," Jones said. "The key is to continually listen to our constituents. As inquiries and feedback about needed services mount, our challenge is to adjust to meet the need." Jones will begin the event with an overview of agency programs and resources. Services and programs featured at the fair include:

No registration is required and doors open at 8:30 a.m. Limited transportation may be reserved by those living east of 56th Street and south of "A" Street, extending to the City limits. There is a $4 suggested contribution for transportation, and reservations are required by calling 402-441-7032 by November 10.
