Public Encouraged to Participate in Wilderness Park Survey

The Parks and Recreation Department invites the public to participate in a survey about Wilderness Park through February 17 at parks.lincoln.ne.gov (select "Take the Wilderness Park survey"). Hard copies are available at the Parks and Recreation office, 2740 "A" Street, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays. The survey will help the department make decisions about park maintenance and planning.

"Wilderness Park is a unique and much-loved park, and it's important to engage the public in its management," said Sara Hartzell, Park Planner. "The feedback we receive through the survey helps us to understand what people value and where improvements can be made."

Survey results will be reviewed by Wilderness Park user groups and available to the public at parks.lincoln.ne.gov. For more information about the survey, contact Hartzell at SHartzell@lincoln.ne.gov or 402-441-8261.
