Transportation Planning Meeting is May 2

The Lincoln Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) invites the public to discuss transportation planning at a meeting starting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 2 in Room 113 at the County-City Building, 555 S. 10th St. The meeting is part of a four-year certification review conducted by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). The review evaluates the effectiveness of the MPO's transportation planning process and verifies that the MPO is complying with federal regulations.

Attendees will be able to share their ideas and opinions with FHWA and FTA representatives as well as officials with the Nebraska Department of Roads and StarTran.

Those who cannot attend the meeting may send their comments prior to the meeting to the MPO at mpo@lincoln.ne.gov or the Lincoln-Lancaster Planning Department, Suite 213, 555 S. 10th St., Lincoln, NE, 68508.
