Westbound traffic on Rosa Parks Way from 9th Street to Salt Creek will be restricted to a single lane from 8:30 a.m. to noon, Thursday, October 26 for a routine bridge inspection. Motorists are asked to exercise caution around City inspectors while they work in the area.
The inspection enables the City to monitor the condition of the structure and to identify bridge degradation. Past inspections have revealed no immediate safety concerns. The biannual inspection is also necessary for the City to meet the requirements of national bridge inspection standards. The Public Works and Utilities Department appreciates the public's patience during the inspection.
