Aging Partners Event Rescheduled for April

The Aging Partners Women's History Month event, "American Songbirds of the 20th Century" has been rescheduled for Thursday, April 12. The dinner and musical performance featuring the Kramer Sisters will be at the Cotner Center Condominium, 1540 N. Cotner Blvd. Dinner begins at 5:30 p.m., and the show starts at 6:30 p.m. The event was originally set for March 8.

The performance will pay tribute to some of America's most influential female vocalists of the 20th Century like Patsy Montana, the Andrews Sisters, Patsy Cline, Doris Day, Linda Ronstadt and Anne Murray.

There is a $10 suggested meal and show contribution for age 60 and over and a $10 fee for under age 60. The menu includes chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy. Show-only admission is available for all ages for $5. Roundtrip in-town transportation to the event is available for those age 60 and over for a suggested contribution of $4. Meal, show and transportation reservations are required by calling 402-441-7158 by April 10.
