Lincoln City Libraries (LCL) invites students ages 10 to 14 to three free writing workshops during the Lincoln Public Schools spring break in March. Each session is limited to 12 students. Registration is required and will be accepted at 402-441-8500 until the classes are full.
The schedule is as follows:
The workshops will be led by Rachel Hruza, a local author whose focus is middle grade and young adult novels in a variety of genres. The workshop will cover character building, considering the reader's perspective, developing stories from personal experiences and connecting readers to new experiences. All genres of writing are welcome, including fiction, nonfiction, memoir and poetry.
