Aging Partners Fitness Center Open House Set for April 12

Aging Partners invites seniors, their families and the public to an open house at their new Fitness Center from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, April 12, 555 S. 9th Street. A brief program will begin at 10 a.m. The event will feature a tour, visits with center staff and free refreshments.

"We are very excited about our new Fitness Center home," said Aging Partners Director Randy Jones. "Many older adults will reap the benefits of the new facility, as will the general public. The open house is a great opportunity for all to stop by and see what we have to offer."

The Fitness Center is available to all ages. It is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and offers a variety of fitness classes, exercise and cardio equipment. There is a $10 suggested monthly contribution for those age 60 and over and a $15 monthly fee for those under age 60. On-street parking will be available along "J" and 8th streets.
