Open House for Lincoln Bike Plan Set for August 20

The public is invited to an open house for the Lincoln Bike Plan from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, August 20 at Turbine Flats Gallery, 2124 "Y" Street. The draft plan bicycle network will be available for review, and staff from the Lincoln Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will be available for questions and comments.

The plan, which outlines potential safety projects over the next 10 years and beyond, is currently being developed. The open house is part of the review conducted by the Lincoln MPO, and the plan may be adopted as a part of the City-County Long Range Transportation Plan.

The plan is available at lincolnbikeplan.com, and online comments are accepted. For more information on the Lincoln Bike Plan, contact Van Bruggen at 402-441-6363 or KVanBruggen@lincoln.ne.gov.
