Senior Mental Fitness Programs Set for November 2

Aging Partners invites senior citizens and the public to a morning of Southeast Community College presentations on mental fitness, health and overall wellness from 9 a.m. to noon Friday, November 2, at the Jack J. Huck Continuing Education Center, 301 S. 68th St. Place.

"The Aging Brain: Everyday Solutions to Stay Sharp in Mind and Body" can help older adults, their families and caregivers develop strategies to "stay sharp" under the guidance of local health and wellness professionals.

Featured presentations and speakers are:

Barrett's and Robine's presentations will highlight everyday solutions that will help set the stage for a quality life as people age. Special attention will be given to the powers of movement, positivity and laughter, as well as healthy eating tips for the optimum aging experience. Foreman will lead the two mini-session exercise classes that can be done from a seated or standing position.
