Although we accept applications throughout the year, a list of seasonal positions is available in January each year. The 2012 seasonal postitions are now available. Priority is given to applications received before March 4, 2012.

Immediate opening for part time graphic designer
The City of Lincoln Parks and Recreation is seeking a student employee to assist the Department with communications, graphic design and website maintenance.
Applicants should:
- Possess strong creative and graphic design skills and the ability to organize and synthesize information into an easily understood format;
- Have working knowledge of html and Adobe Creative Suite 4 or higher;
- Have experience preparing printed pieces (brochures, forms, banners, flyers, etc.);
- Possess excellent communication skills and attention to detail;
- Be able to multitask and complete work by deadlines.
- Outdoor photography experience is a plus!
During the summer months, it will be possible to work 20 to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Opportunity could extend throught the school year, During which, it is anticipated that the student employee will work ten to 15 hours per week. The schedule and number of hours per week is flexible depending on the individual’s schedule, but will be consistent from week to week.
Rate of pay is $10.00-$12.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. Interested parties should contact Stacey Roach at sroach@lincoln.ne.gov to request an application form.
