Fall Nature Camps

Fall Fun Days

October 16 & 17 , 2017
Time: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Ages: K-6 students
Fee: $40/child/day
Location: Pioneers Park Nature Center

This day camp will include a hayrack ride, outdoor exploring, a camp fire, hiking, marshmallow roasting, and much more. Come prepared to be outdoors and bring your lunch! Sign up online or send in the Fall Fun Days Registration Form.

Summer Nature Camps

Summer Camp Registration Begins: January 23rd

Nature Explorers Camp, 2017

Monday, March 13 – Friday, March 17, 2017
Time: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm    |    Extended hours 7:30-8:30 am and 5:00-5:30 pm
Ages: 6-12 years old    
Fee: $180/child
Location: Pioneers Park Nature Center

Spend the week with us at the Nature Center during Lincoln Public School’s spring break. Learn about ecology, wildlife, and more during this fun filled week of day camp. We’ll be outdoors everyday hiking, exploring, playing games, making crafts, and so much more. Dress for the weather, bring a sack lunch and be ready to have some fun. All registration and waiver forms must be completed submitted by February 28. Sign up online and send in the Nature Explorer Camp Waiver.

Leadership Camp

Dates: Monday, June 5 – Friday, June 9, 2017
Time: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm   |   Extended hours 7:30-8:30 am and 5:00-5:30 pm
Ages: 14-17 years old
Fee: $140/week
Location: Wilderness Park, 1st and Calvert St.

Learn outdoor and leadership skills while making new friends at Wilderness Nature Camp’s Leadership Camp. This camp is designed for young adults looking to build skill and learn new talents, from team building to survival skills. Following Leadership Camp, attendees can assist at Wilderness Nature Camp over the summer as Junior Counselors. There is a special application process for this program, please contact the Nature Center for more information. All registration forms, waivers, and payment must be received the Monday prior to camp starting. Registration is not considered complete until all waivers and forms are returned.

Wilderness Nature Day Camp

Days: Monday-Friday, June 13 – August 5*There will not be camp the week of July 4th.
Time: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm   |   Extended hours 7:30-8:30 am and 5:00-5:30 pm
Ages: 6-13 years old
Fee: $180/week, save $10 if registered by May 1st
Location: Wilderness Park, 1st and Calvert St.

Spend the summer immersed in nature, hiking, exploring, and going on adventures with your friends. Sounds like fun? Come to Wilderness Nature Camp at Wilderness Park. This day camp experience is like no other camp around. Each week includes a field trip to a different location, time to explore the creek and build forts, and of course games such as capture the flag. Themes and activities change each week. A camp t-shirt is included with registration. All registration forms, waivers, and payment must be received the Monday prior to camp starting. Registration is not considered complete until all waivers and forms are returned.

Camp Discovery, 2017

Days: Monday – Thursday, June 5 – July 20
*There will not be camp the week of July 4.
Time: 9-11:30 am
Ages: 3-6 years old
Fee: $80/week

This half day camp is designed for young explorers. Camp activities will be planned around each week’s nature-based theme. From crafts to hikes your child will have a wonderful experience learning about the world around them. Registration forms, waivers, and payment must be received the Monday prior to camp starting.

    June 19-22: The Bone Zone
    June 26-29: Fun in the Mud

Fee: $40/day
Location: Prairie Building
Children in elementary school (K-5th grade) can spend a day with friends at the Nature Center. Games, crafts, hayrack rides, s’mores, hiking, and more will fill your day out of school. Bring a sack lunch and be prepared for an outdoor fall adventure. All registration and waiver forms must be completed submitted by Oct. 9.
