Gym and Building Rentals

Air Park Neighborhood Center is available to rent for your reunion, birthday party, meeting or event. Rentals may include game room, gym and/or meeting room. Call for more information and reservations. Call us for more information and to book your event.
Fee: $53/hr for 1 area (gym or 1 room) plus game room. $83/hr Gym, 2 rooms, game room, lobby.

Open Gym
Youth 6th grade and older can come in after 4:30 p.m. (not chaperoned). Youth 5th grade and younger must be Accompanied by a person 18 yrs and older at all times.

Fee: Adults: $2/visit or $21 for a 12 visit “Activity Card”

Fitness/Weight Room
Universal Style equipment, free weights and treadmill. Adults & youth ages 15 yrs. (9th grade) and older can use the weight room unsupervised. 7th-8th grade must be supervised by person 18 yrs. and older. 6th grade and younger are not to use the weight room.
Fee: $2/visit or $21 for a 12 visit “Activity Card”

Gym Court Reservations
Fee: $14/hour for half court (1 basket)

Before & After School   Keyword: School
When school’s not in session, check out our School’s Out programs. We offer a variety of programs for children throughout the year. Most programs include activities such as academic support, sports skills, games, arts, crafts, nature activities, cultural celebrations, stories, music, songs, social skill development, and computer skills. All our programs are adult supervised. Title XX accepted and need based scholarships are available.
Programming is held at Arnold Elementary School when school is in session and the Air Park center when school is not in session. For more information, call 402-441-7876. Click on the the class title to view times, fees and to register.

Kids Day Off & Kids Week Off   Keyword: Off
Program is offered on days and weeks when school is not in session during the school year. Advanced registration is required. Participants are asked to wear active clothing and footwear. Title XX accepted and need based scholarships are available.

Beginning Archery: Ages 6 and older   Keyword: Archery
This will be an instructional session tailored to the beginner archer. Archery is a sport anyone with upper body use can do and be successful. Try this sport if you use a wheel chair or need to be seated to do activity. Class includes the basics of archery (range rules, stance, holding the bow, the draw, line of sight and shooting). Class includes 30 minutes of instruction and 30 minutes of open range time beginning at 10a.
Sessions start: Jan 3, Feb 7, Mar 7, April 4, May 2
Day: Saturdays | Time: 9:30-10:30a | Fee: $18/4 weeks

Archery: Families on Target
This is an open archery range opportunity for individuals and families. The range will be monitored by Recreation staff for safety, however individuals and families can practice and develop their archery shooting skills. Archery also promotes upper body strength and conditioning. Equipment is provided.
Day: Saturdays | Time: 10-11:30a | Fee: $4/person, $8/family

Lincoln Boxing Club- Ages 8+
No cost until sparring or competition. Focus is on fitness, discipline and excellence.
Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays   |   Time: 6-8p

Billiards Keyword: Billiards
Junior Pool / Billiards: Ages 9-17
Players of all ability levels are encouraged to join. Gain the basic understanding of pool/billiards while being taught the fundamentals by Valley National 8-ball Association certified instructors. You may use Parks & Recreation equipment, or bring your own. Each class will begin with basic lessons pertaining to skill development of shots used, and the etiquette of pool/ billiards play. Class will wrap up with scheduled games under the supervision of our instructors as practice for league or tournament play. Elementary age youth must be accompanied by an adult. Karate: GoJu Ryu Keyword: Martial Arts
A traditional Okinawa style of Martial Arts. This style combines the “softer” style of redirecting and blocking with the “harder” style of kicking and punching movements of Karate. In this session you will learn kata, good technique, awareness of surroundings, self-defense, discipline and get a good workout. Wear comfortable clothing. All sessions start on the first week of each month (Jan-May) unless otherwise noted below.
