Parks and Recreation provide opportunities for both youth and adults to be a part of organized team sports all year round. Get your friends, neighbors, and co-workers together to play!

We offer the following:

  • Softball divisions – adult men’s, adult women’s, adult co-ed, and church
  • Volleyball divisions – adult men’s, adult women’s, and adult co-ed
  • Basketball divisions – adult men’s, adult women’s, and church youth boy’s and youth girl’s
  • NFL Flag Football divisions – youth co-ed (complete w/ an NFL jersey that the kids get to keep!)

Adult teams need to register in person at the Athletics Office. There will be on-going registrations until divisions fill. Youth registration forms will be available on-line. For more registration information, visit our team sideline site or call 402-441-7892.

Officiating/Umpiring

Become an official for the Lincoln Parks and Recreation Department!

We offer free clinics for those interested in officiating and/or umpiring for any of our activities. For more information contact the Athletics Office at 402-441-7892 or email us at athletics@lincoln.ne.gov.

Volunteer Coaches

Do you enjoy sports and working with youth? Volunteer coaches are needed for youth basketball and football programs. Share your knowledge of and passion for the game with the youth of Lincoln!

All coaches must complete a volunteer form.
