Celebrate Tree Week With Us! September 26-October 1

A public private partnership brought to you by the Lincoln Parks & Recreation Department, Lincoln Parks Foundation and Finke Gardens .

Budget cuts have hindered the City's tree replacement plantings to a historic low - only 1 out of 5 removed city trees have been replanted. This cooperative tree planting campaign comes during an excellent tree planting season, and the assistance programs are targeted in mature neighborhoods that have been drastically affected by summer storm damage.

Planting trees can be a beautiful way to commemorate birthdays, anniversaries, memorials and other special occasions, or to rebuild your neighborhood. Private and public programs exist to accomodate these gifts.
