Historic Preservation Commission Agenda

 

The City of Lincoln Historic Preservation Commission will hold a scheduled public meeting on Thursday, 
January 18, 2007.  The meeting will convene at 1:30 p.m. in Room 206, 2nd floor, County-City 
Building, 555 S. 10th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska, to consider the following agenda.  For more information,

1. Approve meeting notes for November 30, 2006. 2. Opportunity for persons with limited time or with an item not appearing on the agenda to address the Commission. DISCUSSION AND ACTION 3. Application by Trinity United Methodist Church for landmark designation of 1345 S. 16th Street (with request for action at same meeting) 4. Application by Speedway Properties for a certificate of appropriateness for work at the H. P. Lau Building in the Haymarket Landmark District, 247 N. 8th. 5. Application by Speedway Properties for a certificate of appropriateness for work at the former Salvation Army Building in the Haymarket Landmark District, 151 N. 8th Street. 6. Application by Jeff Lewis for a certificate of appropriateness for work at the Sullivan Building in the Haymarket Landmark District, 311 North 8th Street . DISCUSSION 7. Misc.: Discussion of Commission review process (request by Berggren), etc. 8. Staff report: removals from National Register of demolished buildings-Baldwin Terrace, Townsend Studio, Metropolitan Apartments; up-coming survey of Lancaster County; upcoming National Register nominations, etc.
