Historic Preservation Commission Agenda

 

The City of Lincoln Historic Preservation Commission will hold a special public meeting on Wednesday, April 29, 2010.  The meeting will convene 
at 1:30 p.m. in Room 203, 2nd floor, County-City Building, 555 S. 10th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska, to consider the following agenda.

Agenda of April 29, 2010
1. Approve meeting notes for March 18, 2010. 2. Opportunity for persons with limited time or with an item not appearing on the agenda to address the Commission. PUBLIC HEARING AND ACTION 3. Application by Scott Sullivan and Urban Development Department on behalf of "Cosmic Cow" for a Certificate of Appropriateness for a sign at 6136 Havelock Agenue in the Havelock Avenue Landmark District. See note on Item 7. 4. Application by Urban Development Department for a Certificate of "exception on the ground of insufficient return or hardship" for demolition of the house at 1114 C Street in the Everett Landmark District. 5. Endorsement of nomination to the National Register of Historic Places of "Park Hill" the Young-Faulkner House at 1913 S. 41st Street. 6. Application by Craig Smith on behalf of B & J Partnership for a Certificate of Appropriateness for work at 800 Q Street in the Haymarket Landmark District. DISCUSSION 7. Misc.: Update on Havelock Avenue streetscape improvements (may be requested for discussion between items 3 and 4), etc. 8. Staff Report.
