Historic Preservation Commission Agenda

 

The City of Lincoln Historic Preservation Commission will hold a scheduled public meeting on Thursday, 
August 21, 2008.  The meeting will convene at 1:30 p.m. in Room 206, 2nd floor, New County-City 
Building, 555 S. 10th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska, to consider the following agenda.  For more information,

1. Approve meeting notes for July 17, 2008. 2. Opportunity for persons with limited time or with an item not appearing on the agenda to address the Commission. PUBLIC HEARING AND ACTION Memo from Ed Zimmer, Planning staff 3. Application by Suite One for a Certificate of Appropriateness for work at the Sullivan Building in the Haymarket Landmark District, 31 North 8th Street. 4. Application by WaterPark Condominiums for a Certificate of Appropriateness for work at the former Lincoln Light and Water Building, 2501 A Street, a designated landmark. 5. Application by City of Lincoln for a Certificate of Appropriateness for work at 850 Q Street (Haymarket Parking Garage) in the Haymarket Landmark District. 6. Two related applications by Charles and Nancy Ogden for: (A) a change to the text of LMC 27.63.400 (special permit for historic preservation); and Continued from June 19th (B) a special permit for historic preservation under LMC 27.63.400 as proposed to be amended, for the property described as the Griswold House, permitting construction of a carriage house as proposed Continued from June 19th Note: Landmark designation of the Griswold House, 1256 Fall Creek Road was recommended for approval, June 19, 2008. 7.
