The Lincoln/Lancaster County Planning Commission will meet on Wednesday, July 30, 2008, 11:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. in the Conference Room 113 of the County/City Building, 555 S. 10th St., Lincoln, Nebraska, for a workshop on "Soil Mining Standards and Policies".

**PLEASE NOTE: The Planning Commission action is final action on any item with a notation of "FINAL ACTION". Any aggrieved person may appeal Final Action of the Planning Commission to the City Council by filing a Notice of Appeal with the City Clerk within 14 days following the action of the Planning Commission. **

The Planning Commission action on all other items is a recommendation to the City Council or County Board.

CONSENT AGENDA: (Public Hearing and Administrative Action) COMPREHENSIVE PLAN: 1.1 Comprehensive Plan Conformance No. 08017, to review the proposed acceptance of a permanent historic preservation easement or right over property known as the Lewis-Syford House, 700 N. 16th Street, approximately .42 acres, as to conformance with the 2030 Lincoln-Lancaster County Comprehensive Plan. *** FINAL ACTION *** Staff recommendation: Conformance with the Comprehensive Plan Staff Planner: Ed Zimmer, 441-6360, ezimmer@lincoln.ne.gov Planning Commission recommendation: A FINDING OF CONFORMANCE WITH THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, 8-0 (Taylor absent at time of vote) Resolution No. PC-01132. The proposed amendment is located within the University of Nebraska Technology Park and includes the construction of an office/commercial building of approximately 150,000 square feet. The "Northwest Corridors Redevelopment Plan" area is generally along Sun Valley Boulevard from West O Street to Cornhusker Highway, along Cornhusker Highway from I-180 to N.W. 12th Street, along N.W. 12th Street from Cornhusker Highway to Highlands Boulevard, Highlands Boulevard from N.W. 12th Street to N.W. 1st Street, and West Superior Street from N.W. 1st Street to I-180.
