The Lincoln City/Lancaster County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. in Hearing Room 112 on the first floor of the County-City Building, 555 South 10th Street, Lincoln Nebraska, on the following items. For more information, call the Planning Department, (402) 441-7491. This hearing is broadcast live and is rebroadcast on Sundays at 1:00 p.m. on 5 City-TV, Cable Channel 5.

The Lincoln City/Lancaster County Planning Commission will meet on Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at 11:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m., in Conference Room 113 of the County-City Building, 555 South 10th Street, Lincoln Nebraska, for a briefing on FY 2014/2015 - 2019/2020 Capital Improvement Program (CIP), the FY 2015-2018 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for the Lincoln MPO, and amendment to the 2040 Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP).

**Please Note:** The Planning Commission action is final action on any item with a notation of "FINAL ACTION". Any aggrieved person may appeal Final Action of the Planning Commission to the City Council or County Board by filing a Notice of Appeal with the City Clerk or County Clerk within 14 days following the action of the Planning Commission. The Planning Commission action on all other items is a recommendation to the City Council or County Board.

Comprehensive Plan Conformance No. 14008, to review the proposed "West Van Dorn Redevelopment Plan" as to conformance with the 2040 Lincoln-Lancaster County Comprehensive Plan. The Redevelopment Plan area includes approximately 289 acres, more or less, and the principal project is the "Speedway Sporting Village". The Redevelopment Plan area is generally located between Calvert Street on the south, Rose Street on the north, 1st Street on the west and approximately S. 4th Street on the east, in Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska.

Text Amendment No. 14003, amending Chapter 27.63 of the Lincoln Municipal Code by amending Section 27.63.130 to clarify that the section applies only to outdoor recreational facilities, to provide that the Planning Commission may establish parking requirements for such outdoor recreational facilities based on a determination of the parking needs and operation of the proposed uses, and providing that, as part of the special permit for an outdoor recreational facility, the Planning Commission may, subject to applicable locational requirements of Section 27.63.680, permit the sale of alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises as an accessory use; and amending Section 27.63.680 to allow the sale of alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises as an accessory use to an outdoor recreational facility as part of a separate special permit for the outdoor recreational facility under Section 27.63.130.
