Assistant Chief Brian Jackson

Brian Jackson currently serves as the assistant chief for the Lincoln Police Department. Brian has more than thirty years of law enforcement experience, starting with the Hastings Police Department as a reserve officer and patrolman until hired by Lincoln in 1987. He has held a number of assignments including commander of the Lincoln/Lancaster Drug Task Force, shift commander, department armorer, technical criminal investigations, community services, generalist officer and others. Brian is a graduate of the FBI National Academy (233rd), received his undergraduate degree from Doane College in 1999 and a Masters of Public Administration from UNO in 2010. Originally from Iowa, he is married and has three adult children.
