Police Department K-9 Dies

The police department and K-9 handler Officer John Clarke are saddened by the loss of Officer Clarke’s partner, Urrack. Urrack, a nine year old Black and Tan German Shepard from Belgium died on June 22nd 2005.

Officer Clarke has been an officer for 14 years and a K-9 handler for over 7 years. Urrack, has been John’s partner during that time. Urrack was a very active member of the department and an invaluable tool for officers during his service to LPD. In addition to being a member of the department, Urrack was also a family dog who lived with Officer Clarke, his wife Lisa and their three children. His death was caused by a tumor on his heart.
