A child has been abducted from Lincoln,Nebraska on Thursday, July 14, 2005 at 2:42 a.m. The Lincoln Police Department is looking for a child who was last seen at 3616 N St Paul Avenue, Lincoln Nebraska and is believed to be in danger. The child's name is Earl M "Trey" Hayes III.

He is a 5 year old, male with short, Black hair and was last seen wearing a pair of Black and Blue Nike Shorts.

Earl Madison Hayes Jr, age 27, came to the apartment of the Jessica Cruse, the 24 year old mother of his son and assaulted her and a male friend of hers, Courtney Hancock, age 24, with a metal pipe. Hayes Jr. then forcibly removed Early Hayes III without his mothers consent. The mother is the custodial parent. Both victims were treated at a local hospital for serious but non-life threatening injuries. The child may be in the company of Earl Madison Hayes Jr, BM age 27. They may be traveling in a blue-green 96 Ford Contour Kansas license plate UNU381 that was last seen heading to Topeka Kansas.
