Gerald D. Soundsleeper, age 36, of Lincoln has been arrested for Second Degree Murder for the beating death of his 43 year old girlfriend, Sharon Kay DeSantiago on August 4th 2006. Sharon DeSantiago was found dead in her apartment at 1344 D Street Apt D2, after officers were called there at about 7:40 p.m. on the 4th of August, by a neighbor. Gerald Soundsleeper was developed as a suspect and investigators have spent the past couple of months developing the case. Soundsleeper did live with Sharon DeSantiago at 1344 D St Apt D4 and he was arrested at that location on Wednesday, November 15th at 12:25 p.m.
