Lincoln Police Graduation and Awards Ceremony
The Lincoln Police Department is proud to announce the Fall 2008 Academy Graduation and Awards Ceremony to be held in the Grand Ballroom of The Cornhusker Marriott Hotel, 333 S. 13th Street, on Wednesday, November 26, 2008, at 3:00pm.
Seven officers are graduating from this academy class. All of these officers have completed a rigorous 18-week training academy to become the latest additions to the city's police force. The new officers received classroom and practical training in topics ranging from Criminal Law and Cultural Diversity to Firearms Proficiency and Emergency Driving.
Three of the new officers will be recognized with special awards for outstanding performance. Awards will also be presented to veteran officers and civilians during the ceremony.
