Man Cited for Terroristic Threats

A 45 year old Lincoln resident, Tony R. Miller, has been cited for Felony Terroristic Threats for sending comments, submitted electronically, to the Lincoln Journal Star. These comments, which were not posted on the Lincoln Journal Star site, contained a racial epithet and a threat directed toward Niles Ford, Fire Chief. They followed a Lincoln Journal Star story posted on December 30, 2007 regarding recent Fire Department promotions.

Mr. Miller made a voluntary appearance, was issued a citation and released. He is scheduled for arraignment on January 18, 2008.
