"Back to School" Traffic Enforcement Project Results
The Lincoln Police Department conducted its annual "Back to School" traffic project from August 22, 2011, through September 2, 2011. This project, funded by a grant from the Nebraska Office of Highway Safety, allowed for the placement of additional officers each day, at and around the elementary schools in Lincoln for the purpose of traffic and pedestrian safety.
The project produced the following results:
