North Bottoms Project Summary
Since the start of Husker football season, officers in Northwest Lincoln have been active in the North Bottoms neighborhood, watching for violations. Historically, this area, just north of Memorial Stadium, is brimming with alumni, students and fans. It has also been the location of alcohol-related complaints, including underage drinking and accidents caused by impaired youth. With funding assistance provided by the Nebraska Office of Highway Safety, officers increased enforcement on football game days.
