Citizen Advisory Council

In 1996, the Southeast Team established a Citizen's Advisory Council. The council meets five times a year and is comprised of citizens who live and work within the boundaries of the Southeast Team. The purpose of the council is to provide citizen input on Southeast Team issues and serve as a communication link with the various interest groups they represent.

This type of forum provides citizens of Lincoln with a direct voice to their police department and is used to help identify and resolve community issues. Since formation the Southeast Advisory Council has provided advice and guidance on many issues.
