The CEIS section of Engineering Services is responsible for maintaining web content on the Public Works and Utilities Department web site. Web Standards have been put into place for Public Works and Utilities web pages to ensure consistency across the entire site.
Web Standards for Outside Agencies
Web sites created by an outside agency must follow the current Public Works and Utilities Web Standards if the files are to be transferred to the InterLinc. This is necessary to ensure the city/department-wide style templates are compatible with elements in the code of web pages created by outside agencies.
The agency responsible for creating web material for Public Works and Utilities should receive a current copy of the Web Standards prior to website creation.
These Standards are subject to change without notice. The most current copy is available on the InterLinc (on this page, below) and the IntraLinc (City of Lincoln intranet, available only to City/County employees). Always check for a newer version before using or distributing the Public Works and Utilities Web Standards.
