Open House Planned for 'K' Street Improvements
The public is invited to an open house Tuesday, April 27 on construction of 'K' Street improvements from 17th to 22nd Streets. The meeting is from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at 2143 'O' Street and is sponsored by the Joint Antelope Valley Authority (JAVA).
The project includes pavement and sidewalk reconstruction and installation of a new storm sewer on 'K' Street from 17th Street through 22nd Street. Construction is scheduled to begin in early May, weather permitting.
The open house will not include a formal presentation, but those attending will be able to review the proposed improvements and discuss the project with representatives from JAVA, the construction management team and the contractor.
