Proposed Arterial Rehabilitation Projects
'P' Street from 17th Street to 27th Street
The City of Lincoln proposes to widen, mill and overlay 'P' Street from 17th Street to 27th Street, starting the week of June 14, 2010, weather permitting. 'P' Street will be widened from 25th to 27th Street, with work on both sides of the street. The existing pavement will be milled and overlaid with new asphalt. Sub-standard ADA facilities (i.e. curb ramps and truncated domes) will be reconstructed to meet minimum requirements at all intersections. 'P' Street will be closed to through traffic for 32 days. The City will work with local businesses regarding access during construction. Access to local residences will be restricted at times. The contractor will be Pavers Inc.
