The City of Lincoln proposes to mill and overlay Vine Street from 70th Street to Sierra Drive starting the week of July 12, 2010 weather permitting. The existing pavement will be milled and overlaid with new asphalt. Sub-standard ADA facilities (i.e. curb ramps and truncated domes) will be reconstructed to meet minimum requirements at all intersections. Vine Street will be closed to through traffic for 19 days. The City will work with local businesses regarding access during construction. Access to local residences will be restricted at times. The contractor will be Pavers Inc.

Vine Street is scheduled to be closed from 70th to Sierra July 12-30, 2010.
