Proposed Arterial Rehabilitation Projects
'Y' Street from 18th Street to 26th Street
The City of Lincoln proposes to mill and overlay 'Y' Street from 18th Street to 26th Street starting the week of May 10, 2010 weather permitting. The existing pavement will be milled and overlaid with new asphalt. They will also be replacing some of the damaged curb. Sub-standard ADA facilities (i.e. curb ramps and truncated domes) will be reconstructed to meet minimum requirements at all intersections. 'Y' Street will be closed to through traffic for 32 days. The City will work with local businesses regarding access during construction. Access to local residences will be restricted at times. The contractor will be Pavers Inc.

'Y' Street is scheduled to be closed from 18th St. to 26th St. May 10 to June 12, 2010.
