Upper Southeast Salt Creek Sub-Basin Sewers
This project extended the wastewater service area to provide for additional growth in the quickly expanding southern portion of Lincoln. The Upper SE Salt Creek Sub-Basin Sewers will convey flows from urban development areas S-2 and S-3.
The project is divided into three phases for construction:
Coordination meetings were held with the City of Lincoln Planning Department, Lincoln Water System, Watershed Management, Lower Platte South Natural Resources District, Engineering Services, Parks and Recreation Department, and private utilities in the project area. A public meeting was held on April 12, 2005 at the Walt Branch Library to present the project.
