About Lincoln Recycles Day 2012
The City of Lincoln Solid Waste and Recycling Operations held a number of events in October and November, planned in conjunction with America Recycles Day (ARD), which is annually celebrated on November 15. This is the only nationally recognized day dedicated to encouraging Americans to recycle and to buy recycled products. Celebrating its 15th year, it has grown to include millions of Americans pledging to increase their recycling habits at home and work and to buy products made with recycled materials.
Locally, this event will be supported by businesses and organizations in the following ways:
- Pledge Drive: Pledge on-line to reinforce and improve your recycling habits
- A number of events occured in October and November.
There are a wide variety of recycling services available to Lincoln and Lancaster County residents. For more complete information about Recycling Opportunities in Lincoln, see the 2012 Guide to Recycling (973 K).
