Caught Green Handed

Caught "Green Handed"

During the month of November, the City of Lincoln Recycling Office visited some of the recycling drop-off sites to thank residents for their recycling efforts in helping to conserve resources and save landfill space. We would like to acknowledge the following people who were “Caught Green Handed” this year: Christina Poe, Ron Jones, Karen Hough, Molly Kreifels, Jessica Johnson, and Teresa Otto.

These residents received a reusable drawstring bag from the Public Works and Utilities Department containing a coupon for free Pepsi products, coupons for free food at Amigos, and various items from City government agencies. Since 1990, the network of drop-off sites has collected over 260 million pounds of recyclables from Lincoln and Lancaster County Residents.
